Network Design and Implementation

Do you need a network?

For most businesses, this is an easy question to answer. In fact, a lot of families believe they require a network. Generally, if there are 2 or more computers in the home or business, a network is needed. In addition, Data Services Group recommends using a network anytime you have access to the internet - for security reasons if nothing else. Hacking can be accomplished even over a dial-up connection and DSL or cable makes your unprotected computer an even larger target.

How much network do you need?

This question is far more important than the first. Perhaps you only need a router and a firewall. Or you may need multi-port switches, print servers, web servers, a dns server, and redundant storage. Our consultants can analyze your business and help you ascertain what your requirements are.

Our Network Team

Data Services Group's Network Design Team will work with you to design your network as will best suit your business, taking into account both the type of work the network will need to do and the space provided. They have a lot of experience working in all kinds of different businesses. No business is too dusty, too small, or too cluttered. Our design team will use innovative techniques to protect the equipment in dusty or wet environments, and to compact the equipment where space is in doubt. We have every confidence that our team can design a network to suit your needs.

Once the design has been finalized, the implementation can be scheduled.

We want a change in your system to impact your business as little as possible and will gladly schedule your implementation during the evening or on a weekend, whatever suits you the best.
